As the pandemic is claiming lives all around the world, the export of processed nuts has fluctuated in most regions. Though there was a minute dip in a few nations, the exports to most countries have remained stable. If the figures of May 2019 and May 2020 are compared, it can be concluded that the demand and exports of these processed nuts are slowly but steadily increasing. For instance, in Southeast Asia, Pakistan’s exports have increased by 495 percent. This figure comes as a surprise as the fatal pandemic is sweeping over the world. In fact, if the data for Germany is considered, the exports have expanded by almost 22 percent. This increase indicates that the demand for processed nuts is finally starting to thrive again.
However, there are a few nations where exports have decreased. For instance, in China, exports have dropped by 12 percent, indicating that COVID 19 has severely harmed the world of exports. Not only China, but Indonesia has also faced a drop in the number of exports by 53 percent. In addition, if the data for Malaysia, Fiji, and India are scrutinized, it can be identified that these nations have also witnessed a decrease in the export of processed nuts. Hence, if all of the facts and figures are minutely inspected, it can be stated that the exports of processed nuts are slowly but steadily unleashing itself from the wrath of the pandemic.
Hence, it can be assessed that the coronavirus is wreaking havoc on professions all throughout the world. There is absolutely no doubt that the virus has changed the economic, financial and social spheres in every sector. However, in the current scenario, it is being witnessed that the virus is slowly loosening its tight grip on the situation that has arisen. As professional sectors around the world are starting to kick start their operations, exports in the industrial sector are also being encouraged. Nevertheless, the governments of the respective countries are also attempting to support businesses, both small and large, to make sure that they can make the most of the help that is being offered. Thus, the agricultural sector is learning to adjust to the ‘new normal’ conditions that are prevailing in the world. Hence, as the world is slowly coming to terms with the revised scenario, the exports are also starting to normalize. In the future, it is forecasted that the situation will imitate the past but after a lot of adjustments.
